Triangle of Youth

At Medispa Maui, our mission is to help our patients look and feel their very best at any age. When it comes to beauty, the Triangle of Youth is a central theme. The Triangle of Youth refers to the fact that when we are young, the wide point of our face is at the level of the cheeks, but as we age, the Triangle inverts such that more volume is in the lower third of the face, especially in the jowl region. This is known as the Pyramid of Age.
Maintaining and Restoring the Triangle of Youth is at the heart of looking your very best. Younger patients use filler in their cheeks, chin, and jawline to create a more exotic look (called the “designer Cheek and Jawline” by Dr. Stolley). More mature patients often use fillers in these same areas to restore the volume that they once had in these areas.
By placing filler in the cheeks, jawline, and chin, the tissue is pulled up and back, creating what has been coined the Liquid Lift. Dr. Stolley, PA Patsy Colvin, and Nurse Courtney Tsark are all experts in these techniques with years of experience. For over 10 years, Dr. Stolley and his team have been recognized as the #1 injectors (and top 2% in the Nation) of Allergan products including popular products such as Botox, Juvederm, Voluma, Vollure, and Kybella.
As maintaining and restoring the Triangle of Youth also requires a slim lower face, the expert injectors at Medispa Maui also use advanced techniques such as the use of Kybella in the jowl and submental regions to destroy fat and tighten the tissue. Another technique utilized is to Ultherapy to tighten the lower face. The experts at MediSpa Maui including Nurses Sally B. and Kimberley Duro have performed hundreds of these treatments to tighten the skin of the neck and lower face. It can also be used to lift the brows, tighten the skin around the mouth and on other body areas such as the chest, arms, buttocks, and knees to treat skin laxity.
