How does the Total FX work?
The Total FX is a two part treatment, sending columns of laser energy in a fractional pattern at different depths through the skin. Tissue ablation in these columns starts a healing process that tightens the skin and accelerates the formation of new, healthy tissue. By treating the skin fractionally, it leaves small bridges of untouched skin which allow for a faster healing process.

The Consultation
During the Total FX consultation, you will go over your aesthetic goals. Your skin will be examined carefully, and you will discuss your medical history. This will include questions regarding current medications and supplements, past skin treatments, allergies, and any pre-existing health conditions.
Next, you will learn more about the details of Total FX laser treatment from start to finish. Questions are highly recommended so that you can feel as comfortable as possible with the treatment process.
What can I expect when receiving a Total FX treatment?
The Total FX is the most effective, non-surgical skin tightening device available today and one week of down time should be allowed after receiving a treatment. On the day of your treatment, you will arrive at the office one hour prior to your scheduled treatment time in order for Dr Stolley to administer your medications. You will need a driver to take you home so please plan accordingly. The actual treatment time for the face is approximately one hour and fifteen minutes. After your treatment, your skin will feel very warm and tight. Over the next week, your skin will form a crust and flake off leaving fresh new baby skin in its place. During this time, you will need to avoid sun exposure, cosmetics, and other skincare treatments. Collagen stimulation will continue to be evident for up to 6 months after the treatment.
